Watch the following video on prenatal development. Using these sources and any other source including your textbook reading on the harmful effects of one particular teratogen that became known as the “Tragedy of Thalidomide”, answer the questions that follow. 

1. Discuss the three stages of prenatal development from the germinal stage, to embryonic to the fetal stage. 

2. What are teratogens and when do they have their strongest influence? Please describe at least one that can harm developing babies today (beyond thalidomide as was shown in the video).
